I’ve always had a gift for writing, though I didn’t see it initially. In management consulting, teams would seek me out to help them write proposals to sell multi-million dollar projects. And it wasn’t because I was good at persuasive writing — it was that I intuitively knew how to write like a HUMAN.
Writing with empathy is a heart-centered way to write. It’s never about formulas and trickery. Writing from the heart is HONEST.
But before I embraced my intuition in all my writing, I used to try to “brain” my way there in corporate America.
This looked like:
Overthinking
Editing while writing
Censoring myself and every word
Spinning
Getting stuck
Thinking about the writing I needed (and wanted to do) and doing nothing
Reading books about writing but hiding my words out of fear
Everything changed when I became a mother for the first time.
Becoming a parent changes us — and I didn’t quite get it until years later. Returning from maternity leave, I found a rhythm and flow in my work. Everyone would say, “There’s something different about you, but I’m not sure what.”
It was my Divine Feminine coming through. When I was climbing shiny corporate ladders, I was all up in my Masculine energy. We need both, but as a woman, acting like a man was a path to exhaustion, trying to prove myself at a game I could never win, and burnout.
Removing my pawn from the game, I traded my piece in for the Queen. Two decades after beginning my career, I’ve looked at all the wounding that was holding me back. Perfect? Of course not. I’m always improving.
Today, I’m more dedicated than ever to helping women who are done with censoring and filtering their voices and watering down their expertise. I’ll show you how to write with your intuition, with a side of astrology so that you can connect, compel, and make the impact that only you can make.
