The Writing Threshold
A live, 90-minute writing activation for the beginning of the year
Thursday, January 8, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Another new year.
Early January can feel tender.
Maybe you unplugged for the holidays while sinking into a stack of good books and sacred time over extended meals with people you love.
After all that consuming — food, yes, but also books, essays, and social posts, and now your soul is itching to make something.
You may feel the pull to write …
… at the same time, you’re unsure ….
where to begin
how to begin without burning out
what to write
One thing’s for sure…
You know you need to stop thinking about writing.
You want to BE in relationship with your writing practice again.
Nothing to fix.
Nothing to prove.
Nothing to decide beyond the moment to simply start.
This session is not about pushing yourself into productivity and the hype of a new year.
It’s about listening for what wants to come through — and taking one small, supported step toward it.
In this live session, you’ll:
Quietly name what wants your creative attention in 2026
Understand why beginning is often the hardest part
Learn how to create your own inner safe space to write truth
Discover how to write in a way that restores trust in your voice
Leave with a realistic, meaningful next step you can actually keep
Keep your soul’s promise to co-create with God, and honor it as your job
This is a complete experience in itself.
This session is for anyone who wants to start writing in 2026 — whether it’s …
a book
essays
blogs
journaling
personal projects
The focus is on listening, beginning, and taking a first step.
You’ll remove the layers of what the world told you to write and how to be, and quietly, confidently cross the threshold as yourself.
This is for you if:
You feel a pull toward writing, but don’t want pressure
You’re tired of starting over every January
You want creativity that’s sustainable, not performative
You value depth, slowness, and support
Here’s what will happen
You’ll settle your nervous system so you can write from clarity, not urgency
You’ll flow with some guided writing prompts to help you begin without forcing
You’ll identify the piece of writing that’s ready for attention now
You’ll learn how to recognize your own right-timing signals for writing
You’ll wrap the session with one clear, very doable next step to carry forward

Hi, I’m Jacqueline Fisch — writer, intuitive writing coach, and founder of The Intuitive Writing School.
I help people build a writing practice that’s sustainable, spacious, and actually feels good to return to. Not by forcing habits or chasing productivity, but by learning how to work with timing, energy, and attention.
This approach is what’s allowed me to write consistently for years:
blog posts that bring readers in years later
ongoing newsletters
sustainable social writing
multiple books (with another in progress)
All of this happened alongside homeschooling, kids in competitive sports, multiple cross-country moves, and making room for rest, play, and a life beyond the screen.
Not because I pushed harder — but because I stopped fighting my natural process.
I started listening for when writing was ready, and responding to that moment with commitment — like it was my job.
That’s what I teach, and that’s what I’ll guide you through here.
🤍 Jacqueline
