In this episode of How Women Write, you'll hear about how I created my original blog in 2012 following some family health challenges. This episode is a preview of what we'll explore in the upcoming free masterclass: Turn Your Blog Into a Book.

That blog turned into a business, which laid the foundation for the thriving business I have today in a completely unrelated area.

Blogging will boost your writing habits and prepare you for book writing. It will also give you visibility and (this is my favorite part)—provide the content for your book.

All of my books contain some content that came from a blog.

If you think you have a book in you someday, and aren't sure what it is yet, or know you have a book in all you've created, listen in.

✨ 5 Key Takeaways

  1. You know enough to start a blog today. Don't think too much about who your blog is for, you'll figure it out.

  2. Your blog can turn into a business and a book.

  3. Blogging creates a strong writing habit, giving you practice and strengthening your writing skills.

  4. Blogging will grow your audience—the same audience you'll launch your book to.

  5. Blog posts can turn into book content later.
