Happy Monday, Subscriber First Name! If you’re in Canada or the US, I hope you enjoyed some summer fun and some long weekend vibes. 😎 My daughter put together some berry and vegan marshmallow skewers, banana bread cake with coconut whip and berries, and dark chocolate covered strawberries with red and blue sprinkles — SO GOOD! 👩🍳 I’m so glad she loves to bake because I don’t. Baking requires measuring, so I much prefer to look after the meals. Organic corn has been the family favorite lately. So far, everyone prefers it with everything bagel seasoning over Tajin or dulse flakes (okay… I might be the only one who likes dulse 🤣) What day is it? Long weekends have a tendency to let the days blend together. And really, I’m here for it. I love July. It has such a different vibe from August. July feels like homecoming, and August feels like getting out and emerging. This week we’ve got live co-writing & chill and a coaching call. 📗 Book edits – Still plugging away with roughly 3 hours/week. 📚 Book coaching — One of my coaching clients is almost done with her first section. The coolest part? She’s SUPER focused on the inner work and stepping into her role of author with belief work, mantras, and guided visualizations. Want some? 💬 Socializing — since the spring, I’ve been getting out and talking to real-life humans (10/10 recommend for sparking inspiration). I’ve also been intentional about two social media platforms — Instagram and LinkedIn, and after just a month of renewed focus, I’m seeing more engagement and account growth. ✍️ TIPS FOR WRITING FLOW THIS WEEK We’re halfway through the year. Review your body of work so far in 2025. What have you created since January? As you review what you’ve created, ask yourself: How did this feel to write? Did I lean into what was comfortable? Was the writing peaceful?
Notice what you created that sparks a feeling in your body. Is there a sense of more possibility in there? Where would you love to go deeper? What would be a total risk but also a ton of fun?
