Writer’s block is bullshit. You’re not blocked. You’re either empty or you’re full.
The only way out is through — writing a pile of words without judgment is how you find flow.
Changes are pretty high that you’re not writing and you feel crappy about it.
With a little support, you’ll surprise yourself with what you can write, (and sell) yourself.
We know that you can go quite far alone, but if you partner with others, you can go so much farther.
Copywriting alone and pouring your words out into the world is great, but getting expert advice, writing with specific goals, and feeling good while doing it will take you farther, faster.
Enter a copywriting coach. A coach will help you listen to your inner guidance and will help you write words that look and sound true to you (and your potential clients).
Here’s what a good writing coach does for you and your business:
Serves up practical feedback that’s always direct and kind.
Has a goal to keep you going and to hit publish, which means you’ll publish your “good enough” writing (because you’re going to learn and tweak)
Wants you to take a shitty first draft, quickly edit, and publish it.
Will encourage you to take imperfect action — over and over and over so you can see the evidence of your action, keep tweaking, and moving forward
Will care more about the impact and power of your words and tone than typos and grammar.
A great writing coach will help you do the writing, not do it for you.
You’ve probably heard this quote before:
